No company can be called modern if it doesn't have a developed system of information transmission and without a high level of automatization.

Our company is regarded to be the leader in it's sphere. For the previous years a lot of money have invested in the modernization of the production. The electronic technology department plays an important role in this process.

For the last two years the department realized the ideas that you could only dream of before. A constant work on changing the old office equipment to new equipment is in process now. 80% has been already changed. A complex local computer net has been introduced and it connected almost all the departments of the company and it made the efficiency of transmission and processing information higher.

The department has done a good work on the adjustment of the system regulating the right of access, a photograph library has been made and it has links to the data base about the staff of the company. An automated system of calculating the charge for food when paying by cards in the company cafe was worked out and introduced.

The department provides with the service in the three following spheres: industrial electronics, office equipment and connection.

In future we have a global monitoring system of technological processes to be built, and this will allow us not only to control the production but also to do timely corrections and make the quality of products higher.

Good furnace charge makes good glass

A workshop of burden preparaion is one of the most important elements of production. Burden preparation is the beginning of glass production, the quality of output mostly depends on the quality of burden production.

This is the reason why the greatest attention is paid to a higher quality of a furnace burden and better working conditions in the workshop. Due to the financial help a systematic and purposefull work on mashinery modernization and up-dating is being done. Two new burden mixers have been put into exploitation, a carbonic sulphate mixer has been installed. A junction for unloading hoppers has begun its work and this allows to deliver concentrated sand without packaging and thus to make working conditions cheaper and safer. In order to raise the quality of raw materials magnetic separators for sand and cullet refining have been turned on.

For the further quality raise and better working conditions it is planned to reconstruct and introduce an automated dosing and mixing line for burden preparation, which implies a fully automated technological process and abolished hand work.

Metrology: the economics of precision

In order to do the technical reequipment and the extention of production volume a number of elaborations have been done for the perfection of control and automatic regulation of technological processes in which more modern and precise devices are used.

And within the year 2007 and in 2008 systems of control and automatic regulations of temperature modes were applied according to zones in the mashinery feeders. The adoption of this technology made it possible to stabilize the technological process in the feeders and it caused radical changes to the better quality of drip-feed products. The modernization of the system of technical temperature mode control and adjustment according to the zones in feeders for making glasstubes in line13 has been done. The tests within this activities done brought a considerable positive result in a perfected quality of the tube.

The significant role for a better quality of glass melting was played byt optical level gauges УРС-3М which help to control the level of glass mass in a glass melting furnace. The applying of these gauges allowed to achieve evennes and uniformity of a furnace charge and thus to achieve a good quality of glass melting. At this time the gauges are in process in #3,6,7 furnaces and in #1 furnace the installation work is being done.

It is worth mentioning that the elaborations have been done due to the stable financial help.
